KATHLEEN E. BOYCHUCK has 17 years of legal experience and focuses her practice on complex litigation, throughout the United States, primarily in the areas of antitrust and consumer protection.  She has prosecuted a diverse range of matters, including matters involving the healthcare, pharmaceutical, containerboard, polyurethane foam, and music industries.  Ms. Boychuck currently litigates antitrust claims in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.  She has prosecuted actions, on behalf of indirect purchasers, such as In re Zetia Antitrust Litig. (E.D. Va.), which settled for $70 million during jury selection and In re Namenda Indirect Purchaser Antitrust Litig. (S.D.N.Y.), which settled for over $56 million shortly before trial was scheduled to begin. Ms. Boychuck’s recent achievements include disqualifying a key defense expert and obtaining summary judgment against defendant hospital system’s efficiencies defense in In re NorthShore Antitrust Litig. (N.D. Ill.).  Ms. Boychuck is also experienced in managing electronic discovery review in document intensive, multi-defendant class actions.

While in law school, she appeared on the Dean’s List. Ms. Boychuck also participated in a study abroad program with a concentration in international human rights in Salzburg, Austria, taught by the Honorable Anthony M. Kennedy, Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. As an undergraduate, she interned for the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Law and National Security in Washington, D.C., in support of the legal response to terrorism, weapons of mass destruction and information warfare.
