Miller Law is pleased to announce a class action settlement with Defendant International Paper in this case. In this lawsuit, a class of direct purchasers represented by Miller Law and lead counsel allege that the defendants engaged in illegal anticompetitive conduct with respect to the sale of containerboard products. The plaintiffs allege they paid a higher price than they would have otherwise paid in a competitive market. Under the terms of the settlement, defendant International Paper has agreed to pay $354,000,000, subject to a contingent and time-limited provision in the Settlement Agreement providing for a potential reduction of up to $118,000.000, and to provide certain other consideration in settlement of the case against them.  Further details concerning this settlement can be found here.
